Our Weekly Sewing Community Competition

At Lush Fabrics, we believe fabric is made to be worn, loved, and shown off — not just admired on the shelf.

That’s why we created Lush Outfit of the Day, a weekly celebration of the incredible pieces our community creates.

Whether you’ve just finished a new garment or you’re reaching for an old favourite, we want to see how you’re wearing your handmade pieces in real life.

💕 A Community of Lush Makers

More than a competition, this is about celebrating our growing community of Lush Makers.

Throughout the week, we share and feature your creations across our social channels — giving you the spotlight and inspiring others along the way.

From everyday outfits to special pieces, every post helps build a beautiful, real-life lookbook of what’s possible with Lush Fabrics.

How to Enter

Joining in is simple:

  1. Create and wear something made using fabric from Lush Fabrics
  2. Take a photo or video of your outfit
  3. Post it on Instagram or Facebook
  4. Tag us @lushfabricsaustralia and use the hashtag #SewnWithLush

That’s it — you’re in!

You can enter as many times as you like with a different outfit, and we encourage you to share both new makes and past creations.

If you find you are wearing something you have made using Lush fabric every day, then please, feel free to enter this competition every day.

Eligibility

  • Employees of Lush Fabrics and members of the Lush Fabrics sewing team may enter but are not eligible for prizes.

  • Garments must be made by the entrant.

  • Entries must be public and remain visible on social media.

  • Garments must be made using fabrics purchased from Lush Fabrics - www.lushfabrics.com.au or in store.

Prize (All values in AUD)

🎁 Weekly Prize

Each week on a Wednesday, we select one standout entry to receive a $30 Lush Fabrics voucher to put towards their next project.

Judging Criteria

Winners are chosen based on creativity, styling, overall presentation and engagement — so have fun with it and make it your own.

Winner Announcement

🏅 Winners will be announced on our social media each Wednesday that the competition is running.

Additional Terms

  • By entering, you grant Lush Fabrics permission to repost your images/videos with credit on our platforms.

  • Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

  • Once you have been announced as the winner on social media you have 2 weeks to contact us to claim your prize. You can contact us via email to claim at lush@lushfabrics.com.au

  • You have two months from the date it is sent to use the gift voucher.

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook or Instagram.
